“FOLLIES” was the first successful fundraising effort, held in the fall of 1941. Other fundraising efforts have been held throughout the decades which include Gala Balls, Cookbook sales, ticket sales, craft bazaars, and auctions.

In recent years, BJSL has hosted a cooking competition, “Now We’re Cookin!”, to raise funds to continue the mission and vision of the league. This event is made possible by the generous in-kind and monetary donations of local restaurateurs and business owners in our community.

Post Covid, we have found success by hosting a winter fundraiser known as “It’s in the Bag Raffle!”
